Our History

Eurotow Recovery was launched in the beginning of 1999 as a joint business venture by Mark and Karen Hicks. Mark has been involved in the industry since 1979 and had previously been employed by a ‘local garage’ based in Worcester where he was responsible for the co-ordination and management of a Breakdown and Recovery Service carrying out work for all major motoring organisations and local main dealers.

Karen worked for the UK’s leading manufacturer of Recovery Vehicles where she gained valuable experience in the Industry. Since the launch, Eurotow has gone from strength to strength successfully securing and maintaining Main Dealer contracts within Worcester and surrounding areas against stiff competition, due to its emphasis on high standards and customer service.

Mark Hicks
Managing Director

Mark has been running EuroTow Recovery since the late 90’s and has always prided himself on the providing the highest level of customer service.

From a roadside recovery to changing the oil during a booked in vehicle service, Mark always provides the best service possible.

Jake Hicks
Operations Manager

Jake is the next generation of the family to take up the values defined by Mark and is a very valuable member of the team.

In addition to the recovery and servicing requirements of the business, Jake also manages the website and social media for the business.

Karen Hicks
Finance Director

Karen manages the day to day running of the business, ensuring that suppliers are paid on time and the parts required are delivered in good time for the repair, MOT or recovery repairs.

Karen ensure that the business runs like a well maintained clock and is the heart beat of the businesses.

Eurotow Pug
Security & Wellbeing

Eurotow Pug is in charge of garage security. He ensures that the garage is well guarded during business hours, while doubling as Well-being officer.

He often entertains customers playing fetch, and is often found in the cab of the recovery vehicle providing valuable assistance to the recovery team.
